The Football Match

As part of the run-up to the World Cup finals, England arranged a friendly match against Wales. All the English players couldn't be arsed but Wayne Rooney needed a bit of match practice, so they sent him out to play against Wales by himself.
At half time, England were winning 12-0. Seeing that he was doing so well, the other players told Rooney that they were going to the pub and they'd see him in there later.
After the match, Rooney found the other players in the pub, and announced that the final score was 18-1. 'What? how come they scored a goal?' said one of the players.
Rooney replied - 'well I got sent off after 20 minutes'
