Encounters

Encounters is a small-to-medium sized bistro-type restaurant that we have visited many times before, but for some reason have never reported on.
Specialising in English food, we normally go for one of their incredible steaks, but tonight we tried something different - the head chef came over to confirm that we wanted french food, and the most succulent shallotted boef bourgignon was served up, beating by miles the Bistro Pierre authentic French restaurant down the road which was once again in 'meat market' mode.
The personal service and quality of food - (if its not on the menu, they'll cook it anyway!!!!) - has always been second to none, and although quite expensive, its worth every penny plus a tip. This is TRUE Masterchef territory!
Do NOT miss out on trying this superb restaurant!

Another visit to Encounters and once again the best meal anywhere in Nottingham and probably the whole of the UK (no kidding!)
It really doesnt matter what you order, its all superb.
And it really doesnt matter if its on the menu - if its not, they'll make it for you.
This establisment is genius at its finest!
